Strategy

Our aim is for: 1) all computer science, mathematics, and physics students and some biology and chemistry students to receive an advanced parallel computing education. To cater to the backgrounds and interests of different students, some learning will focus on theoretical issues, while others will focus on application issues. Parallel computing will be learned in several forums: a) as an integral part of existing subjects b) as a prominent part of new elective subjects c) as the focus of a number of honours projects.
