The High Performance Cluster Computing Centre Supported by Dell and Intel is located at Room 502, Oen Hall Main Building, Hong Kong Baptist University, Kowloon Tong, Hong Kong SAR. The room infrastructure is designed to host the clusters and provide stable and solid support to the system.
HPCCC is part of a proposal funded by the Teaching Development Grants, Hong Kong. The Proposal is to establish a PC cluster and the accompanying software environment, enabling students and faculty members to learn how to take advantage of the tremendous computational power of a parallel architecture. New lectures and laboratory modules will be introduced into existing computational science subjects to give students experience in parallel computing. Future graduates will be able to enter Hong Kong's workforce ready to tackle complex problems on a parallel computer.
HPCCC hopes to grow and become an important establishment for the Hong Kong parallel computing community. Please feel free to drop us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org for suggestions and inquiries.
