Ten HKBU scholars receive recognition from the Research Grants Council

Ten HKBU scholars, who have received awards from various funding schemes of the Research Grants Council (RGC) in 2021-22, were recognised by the RGC at an award presentation ceremony on 11 November. The event aimed to honour academics from University Grants Committee-funded universities for their distinguished research achievements and significant contributions to the higher education sector.

The HKBU awardees are as follows:


RGC Research Fellow Scheme:

Dr Shi Jue (Department of Physics)


Humanities and Social Sciences Prestigious Fellowship Scheme:

Professor Clara Ho (Department of History)

Dr Celine Song (Department of Journalism)


Early Career Scheme:

Dr Hon Yu-sing (Department of Mathematics)

Dr Li Xueni (Department of Marketing)


RGC Postdoctoral Fellowship Scheme:

Dr Chen Shu (will be joining the Academy of Film in January 2022)

Dr Mirocha Lukasz (Academy of Visual Arts)

Dr Santini Giovanni (Department of Music)

Dr Tang Ling (Academy of Film)

Dr Wang Luyao (School of Chinese Medicine)
