The two-day virtual Science Festival concluded successfully on 30 June 2021. More than 600 secondary school teachers, students and parents participated in this meaningful education event.
The Faculty has organised an array of activities for the participants, including science talks, workshops, lab demonstration and prize quiz. We were honoured to invite Professor PC Yuen, Associate Dean (Teaching and Learning) of the Faculty, to be our officiating guest; and Professor Jonathan Wong, Head of the Department of Biology, to deliver an opening talk on “Converting Food Waste to Renewable Energy”.
Students also took part in the prize quiz enthusiastically. Bravo to those who got the answers quickly and correctly! Reading gift certificates will be presented to the ten awardees of each talk as a token of appreciation.
