HKBU Science Festival attracts more than 700 participants

More than 700 secondary school students and members of the public attended an array of activities, including scientific talks and interesting experiments, at the Science Festival organised by the Faculty of Science on 5 July.

The Faculty also organised the Innovative Solution for Future Competition for secondary school students. The team from the Hoi Ping Chamber of Commerce Secondary School won the competition with their practical and environmentally-friendly kitchen tool which can recover waste thermal energy. The multi-functional device acts as an exhaust fan and can dry kitchen cloths and provide safety alerts.
