The University held its Information Day for Undergraduate Admission on campus last Saturday (27 October) to provide prospective applicants and visitors with the most updated information on the four-year curriculum and the development of the University in addition to enabling them to experience HKBU’s vibrant campus life. The activity attracted around 25,000 participants.

There was a featured talk on "Navigate JUPAS admissions, explore HKBU programmes" delivered by Dr. Esther Ho, Chairperson of the Hong Kong Association of Careers Masters and Guidance Masters; Dr. So Kwok-sang, Academic Registrar; and representatives from each Faculty/School/Academy. Dr. So also delivered a "JUPAS Admission Talk" and a "Non-JUPAS Admission Talk". In addition, there were programme briefings and sharing sessions organised by various Faculties/Schools/Academy. Visitors also had the chance to meet with academics, students and alumni to learn more about individual programmes, admission requirements and career prospects.

Student ambassadors conducted guided tours for visitors to different campuses, Student Residence Halls, the Library, Academic Community Hall and other teaching facilities and laboratories. In addition, a variety of student performances, such as musical ensembles, dance performances and magic shows, provided opportunities for visitors to sample the University's mission of Whole Person Education and the rich and diversified on-campus experience.
